Re: Question?

After reading concerns about autoimmune disorders, I have realized that Mirena is NOT for me. I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis at the age of 25. Fortunately I am symptom free and am off all medication. If this thing does cause some kind of autoimmune disorder, than No-you're never back to normal. Although I am symptom-free and medication free, I am not 100%. My body aged from side affects of RA. My joints are not the same. I am not as energetic and cannot exercise vigorously like before. I am thankful for being able to do what I can do although my body will tell me when I've done too much. That's what I cannot get use to.

My fear in reading these posts is that if I did decide to go with Mirena, than I'm almost positive that my symptoms of RA will be back full force. And I highly doubt that I will be lucky again to put it into remission.

Thanks to all for their posts. I am so glad I found this first.
