Freewill
Please see the video link if you haven’t first:
Edit: I just watched this again, and my goodness what a message..
Free will is extremely confusing to me at times. Is it the same freewill that enlists people into military? I know its a touchy subject. I could never wrap my head around the, "Support Our Troops" when someone was giving up themselves to be dictated over, relinquishing all that they were to someone or something else. I never thought I could support that, much less someone killing someone else for ANY means, much less some soil and turf, with a few rocks and trees strewn in there, I sometimes think its a masquerade for something much greater on a different front, maybe for the souls of man, yet going under that superficial ideology of Turf. Will man fall in line for something that’s primal? Something that his forefathers fought for? Something that 'Good' men fought for? That puzzles me too at times, aren't some battles necessary? What about America's fight for freedom and independence? I’m trying to offer up other ideas because I don’t have all the answers, and I don’t want to be bias in a question I’m posing even if its something I AM biased in. By the way, I don’t pander to the slander, or the excuse under the auspices of, "Well if someone came and took YOUR land you’d want a gun then, HUH." I sort of think, if they wanted to take my life, that’s fine, I know this is just a vessel, Id like to think I’m not of this earth, so why fight for it? I saw this video of Charlie Chaplin once, and I think it sums up war, violence, power, and control. I believe its one of thee most powerful video clips, I know Chaplin took a lot of heat for it too.
