I wanted to thank you for mentioning the nervous system imbalance and sympathetic dominant. I had never heard of that term before. I researched it, and it does describe me. (I'm going to ask my acupuncturist about this.)I thought it was interesting that it said sympathetic dominate is caused by heavy metal poisoning.

During my last visit with a master herbalist, she used the Zyto Compass on me. The Compass is a bio-assessment computer program that reads your body and recommends what types of herbs and nutrients your body needs. The first recommendation on the list was an herbal combination for heavy metal toxins. Also, during the first visit I had with this master herbalist/iridologist, she looked at my eyes and muscle tested me, and said my nervous system was filled with heavy metal toxins. It's supposed to correct 40 different problems in my body if I take this herbal supplement. (and the master herbalist suggested I sign up as a distributor to get these herbs cheaper than buying them from her. What doctor would do that?)

You were fortunate to find an MD who is open to alternative treatments. When I first became ill, I was diagnosed with pneumonia. I didn't have any insurance at that time, and my husband's work hours had been reduced to part time. I was referred to a clinic and the entire experience was horrible. They kept prescribing more and more Antibiotics , (which I only took in the first place because I was desperate)and wanted to continue taking more X-rays. I said "forget this" and never went back. The doctors could barely speak English. When it comes to my health, I want someone I can understand!

Anyway...thanks again for the advice. I'm going to pursue this further, and, maybe, I will finally get to the root of my illness.
