Re: Vaginal Discharge from fasting?

Hi Chris1b!

In the case of excessive vaginal mucus the body is most likely trying to eliminate 'something' and the mucus serves to help dispose of it. Good point. I could see how toxins might be excreted in this way. I just wonder if the body would prefer to protect this sacred area and use another route instead. Toxin moving through the vaginal canal might throw off the delicate ph balance which is necessary for a healthy reproductive environment, even for allowing sperm to survive. But I guess over all health is the issue and if there are toxins that need to be eliminated, then they must go regardless of the avenue. That's fascinating about the women who were once "barren" prior to a fast, and later made fertile. Ok I can see how temporary toxic inconveniences making their way through the vaginal cavity toward elimination would in the long run benefit reproduction as overall health is improved. Best regards :) Marie
