Swollen lymph nodes after vomiting

Hi I'm an on again off again bulimic.. last time I had an episode the next day my throat was swollen and my stomach ached - the ache has gone but two weeks on and my neck is still swollen. I went to the doctor, didn't actually tell her it was purging though, but she said my lymph nodes are swollen. Has anyone else had this from vomiting and what can I do to heal this. Needless to say I haven't purged since.
