Many, many answers.

What's your diet like? How's your iron and B vitamin stores?

When I feel like this and I'm having enough BM's, I look to electrolytes, protein, B vitamins and iron. Are you a vegetarian? Can you describe what your diet is like on average? I started to get depressed around 23, around the time I had had enough with asthma medications and couldn't take it anymore. I went on anti-depressants because I just couldn't deal.

Now, 10 years later, I can easily see that it was the asthma meds that had really 'retarded' me in being able to deal with my neurotransmitters. I was also tipping in and out of anemia which would make me very, very depressed.

Can you give us some more info? I'd love to help you.
I really feel for ya. This is totally surmountable. You know, of course, that the asthma meds probably donated fluoride to your system as well. This is major halide detox. But - you NEED protein, iron & B's to keep your detox pathways supported! Without which, when you go through your stores while detoxing, you're not only NOT serving your body but when your stores run dry - there's nothing left for your neuro-chemistry. The answer?

Eat all the right stuffs. Tell me what you eat.
Do you have an appetite? Are you drinking enough water?

Newport is right about the ascorbic acid pushes - it helped me a great deal - until it didn't. I focused soooo much on flushing (I'm not telling you to stop YET) but I wasn't adding electrolytes at a slow rate throughout the day. Magically, I got super depressed.

The answer (for me): add a bit of Sea Salt to each glass of water I drank, then did the salt+C pushes when I needed them - I felt a great deal better. Get those electrolytes slowly throughout the day. Potato water kept in the fridge will save your butt, too, in a pinch.
