Otovent

hey everyone
Ive just been given "Otovent" by my doctor, which is a device that can make the Eustachian tubes (which link the middle part of the ear with the back of the throat) open up, and by doing so may help to clear glue ear.

The Otovent consists of a plastic tube to which a small balloon can be attached, it is placed in one nostril and then inflate the balloon by blowing air down the nostril and into the tube, this may improve the way that the Eustachian tube functions.

Has anybody had success with this device for nasal, ear or sinus congestion/infections?
