Request for Advice/Help

Yesterday I had a bad, sad day. I cannot
remember having one in a long time, perhaps
when I had my car wreck was the last time
but yesterday, my trauma involved waking up
to the screaming for help from one of the
ladies who lives at the other end of the
house. Our other housemate's 11 year old
cat was being attacked by our dogs. For the
most part it had gotten very lazy about
running from the dogs and these dogs have
a penchant for chasing cats. This cat had
only lived here less than a year and had
already made the mistake once of walking up
to the big dog who immediately nabbed her
and only spat her out when I went banchee
on him. (sigh)

So longer story short, I rushed the cat
to the vet. I had received a serious cat
bite when I went to put the cat in the
pet carrier. I doused it with about a
half bottle of peroxide and then the
30 minute drive to the vet, I kept spraying
it with Colloidal Silver . By the time I
arrived at the vet the bite site was pretty
swollen and my vet wanted me to go to the
hospital immediately. She told me a few
significant horror stories to fortify my
decision and I went. I felt fine although
the adrenaline in my system had me amped
up and my blood pressure was very high.
I received a tetanus shot in my left
arm which is also the arm which was bit.
I was told to take 800 mgs. of ibuprofen,
something which I also rarely ever take.
Well, within an hour of leaving the
emergency room, I was dragging my left
leg, and my knee and leg were not working
properly. It did not improve as the
evening went on either. I took a hot
bath and was hoping, do hope, that it
is just the adrenaline dissipating from
my body. I have looked on line at the
side effects of the tetanus shot and
cannot say for sure that it is what I
am experiencing. I would like to ask for
help from the healers among us, and if
anyone has any idea who could be going
on. I am using a cane now to support my
body since the leg is still not wanting
to hold me up. I do NOT want to go back
to the hospital. I really feel like
crying since in spite of all our efforts
the vet called last night and the cat
had passed. We will take it this morning
to get it cremated. It was current on its
shots so I know I am not dealing with
rabies. It does seem to me that the
more "clean" I become, the more sensitive
I am to drugs. I am wondering if I should
be more concerned or just let time heal
all things?? The bite site is sore and
swollen still. Worse of all, since I had
been gone for so long, I had come home
and hit the ground running. I still have
so much on my to-do list and this has
brought all to a screeching halt. If
anyone has any idea what I should do
next, I would appreciate some opinions
since I am just numb from what has
transpired. I also am dealing with my
feelings of anger at the dogs and yet
dogs will be dogs and these dogs do
go hunting for critters and while they
come in at night for supper and bed,
during the day they are country dogs
and think nothing of giving a cat a
good chase.

I also am taking some Antibiotics
since the doctor assured me cat bites
are particularly nasty. This leg issue
was going on before I took my first dose
of Antibiotics so I do not feel there is
any connection. My blood pressure also
had returned to normal after laying around
in the emergency room for an hour so do
not feel that was the source of my problem
either.

One last question. Does anyone know if I
should stop taking herbs if I have decided
to use the Antibiotics ?? I wanted to take
some olive leaf last night and did. I do
not think it had any effect on my leg but
of course it would have been my choice for
staving off any infection, along with the
spray silver. There is also heat still
radiating from the wound...

Any advice or reassurance will be greatly
appreciated.
