off balance vertigo

hey doc jeff
I am interested to know what you think can help me with my vertigo. The symptoms I have are that I am off balance (being pushed and pulled) like standing on a boat . I have this sensation all the time, even when lying still. I have had this problem for a few weeks now. It started when I collapsed and was having convulsions and went to the emergency room. I was unconscious for quite a few hours. They suspect i was drugged (spiked by a drink) . I had a CT scan and was told that it was normal, bloods were also normal. I am wondering if the vertigo is due to displacing a vertabrae disc in my upper neck, as when i was unconscious I was left slumped forward in very unnatural position in a wheelchair. I also have noticed that my neck appears to be slightly stiff although this may well be due to having to lie down and rest for excessive amounts of time. The doctors have recommended perhaps that I see a neurologist and/or ENT with the possibility of having an MRI scan (which I am very reluctant about having). The vertigo may be due to infection of the inner ear, but Ive been using some hyd peroxide drops in each ear but it didnt seem to help. Do you think osteopathy or physiotherapy may do the trick? Hope you can offer me some insights, as I'm not able to do very much with my life while feeling like this!
thanks so much for all your help!
