My apple juice turns a dark brown color when I add the MMS

As soon as I combine the standard citric-acid-activated MMS (pale yellow in color) solution with some diluted apple juice, the apple juice immediately changes from its natural light brown color to a weird dark brown color. Is that OK, or else is this apple juice somehow neutralizing/spoiling the entire final MMS drink? I only noticed this yesterday when I upped my dose to 15 drops of MMS. I upped that dose because I was tolerating the MMS reasonably well at a 4-drop dose.

My activated MMS solution was a standard MMS solution consisting of 15 drops of the standard 28% sodium chlorite MMS (from PGL International) mixed with 1 full teaspoon of the standard 10% citric acid solution (also from PGL International), which is the standard Jim Humble-recommended amount of 10% citric acid solution to use to activate 15 drops of MMS.

Since this 15-drop-drink of MMS was well tolerated by me, and since I am still a new MMS user, I am now wondering if my added apple juice is somehow neutralizing/spoilng/weakening the activated MMS solution. I first put the 15 drops of MMS in a clean dry glass shot glass. Then I completely fill a plastic teaspoon with the 10% citric acid solution (is that OK to do?), and then I pour this full teaspoon of citric acid solution into the glass shot glass containing the MMS. Then I swirl the liquid in the shot glass, then I wait 3 minutes, and the solution in the shot glass then turns a pale yellow color, which indicates that it is activating properly. Then I combine this citric-acid-activated MMS solution with about 1/3 measured cup of apple juice 50% diluted with Penta purified water in a different bigger clean dry glass glass, and then I immediately drink that final drink.

Note that this apple juice has NO added Vitamin C. This apple juice is taken from a glass bottle of Whole Foods natural apple juice, which is naturally light brown in color & cloudy.

I already know from reading here that an MMS drink with no added apple juice but just some added water is a lot stronger than an MMS drink with added apple juice, so today I will try just 5 drops of the standard 28% MMS solution with the standard 25 drops of the 10% citric acid solution, and then combine that with 1/3 cup of just Penta purified water (no added apple juice), and I will see what sort of reaction I get to that kind of final MMS drink. I must suck on a peppermint lifesaver (which has no added Vitamin C nor any artificial sweeteners) just before I drink this final drink and just after I drink this final drink, to mask the chlorine-like taste which I hate.
