Endometriosis in Abdominal Wall From C-Section

I had surgery last fall to remove a mass of endometriosis in my abdominal wall. It was caused from cells in my uterus being misplaced into my abdomen after my c-section in 2004.

My surgeon suspected endometriosis, so I'm pretty sure she knew to cut a huge chuck of the tissue around it, but of anyone who has experienced this same thing, has yours ever come back?  I shared a more detailed account of my story here Abdominal Endometriosis.

I keep having these random very faint but familair feelings of pain and stinging, and since it took this long to get to a painful point the first time I'm pretty darn sure that it's just my nerves and imagination of being afraid of another stomach surgery (c-section, hernia, and this in 4 years.)

But if anyone has gone through this? Did it come back? Do you still have odd feelings at that time of the month?I am on mirena and don't have my periods so I can't track my ovulation time very well. Maybe it's possible that I have more somewhere else that was missed.

Stephanie
