+edit Re: Cleaning harvested/wildcrafted herbs??

Howdy!

I have two 1-quart jars I keep "at the ready" with Bentonite Magma (which I will henceforth be calling Bentonite Liquid). There is a 'pharmaceutically correct' ratio for "official" Bentonite Magma...but I made it, and it didn't have enough Bentonite in it to suit my needs. You can read about it and find the 'formula' here: http://tinyurl.com/cy6utw

"A practical guide to contemporary pharmacy practice"

I take a quart of VERY hot water (just boiled) - distilled or RO...I think I probably used distilled to make the Bentonite Liquid. Put the majority of it in a blender or Vitamix and start adding Bentonite. I added clay until it became the consistency of, umm, about like maple syrup (not nearly as thick as honey or molasses). Add the rest of the water, and put it in a glass jar (canning jar).

To "cleanse" my herbs (AND non-organic produce), I fill a huge stainless 'pasta pot' (restaurant size, looks to be about 8-10 gallons, and I add about 1/2 cup of my bentonite liquid. Then I let 'whatever' soak about 8 hours (or overnite), rinse it thoroughly with more RO water, and lay 'whatever' out to dry.

I'm tellin' ya, if you doubt it works - just buy some non-organic grapes, wash them real good, and eat a handful (paying close attention to the taste). Then give 'em the 'bentonite treatment' overnite, rinse 'em, and taste another handful. WOW, the difference is phenomenal.

Of course, this doesn't make non-organic produce "organic"...as all it does is remove toxins/poisons (it doesn't nourish the plant/produce the way it should have been nourished). But it's a heckuvalot better than ingesting toxins.

And of course, many organic growers do end up with top quality produce - because all they do is avoid the toxic pesticides & herbicides, but they don't go to the time/trouble to replenish the soil with minerals (nor do they treat the soil and restore it's VITAL balance and supply of various microorganisms).

Cleanse ON!
