Why Don't More People Pray More?

I'been reading you on CZ for a while now and thinks we got some things in commons. Except you are more writey than I am. My situation is very complicated and I don't know where to begin. Just wanted to introduce myself and see if maybe the topic of prayer fits in. I asked a friend of mine if he prays one time and he said only when there is an emergency. And then he only prays one prayer, not verfently. Makes me wonder why not. But maybe pepole don't beleive they'll get a response, or they don't have time, or both... Wondering what you think about the power fo prayers?
