I've figured a lot of pieces out.

I'm relieved to hear of someone else that has this in their family - thanks so much for sharing. I mean that. Iodine has helped me find a lot of puzzle pieces. I didn't have the puzzling brain in tact to FIGURE THESE PIECES OUT until I found Iodine - no joke.

I believe the multi-generational suicides (run on my father's side especially, I know of 4 besides my mother and brother) have to do with serious Iodine deficiency, alcoholism, copper toxicity, metals toxicity, I'm pretty sure babesia, hookworm and a host of other micro and perhaps macro bugs - and through all of this - consequently - mineral imbalances.

I've finally figured out my mother was magnesium and iodine deficient. That's a huge piece! She had a very long stretch of her intestine taken out in a surgery at 17 - which I've figured out contributed to a magnesium deficiency. I know she had thyroid issues. If a momma is magnesium deficient or anemic (she tipped toward it), their children are much more likely to absorb heavy metals at a faster rate because they're looking for the minerals. Hence - kids who deal heavily with Depression from childhood and a whole host of immunity issues.

Voila! ...now I just gotta fix it! I'd like to have a healthy peanut at some point.

I am SO GRATEFUL to VWT and to Iodine! Woohoo!
