I have Plaque psoriasis on ankle?

I think I got Plaque Psoriasis on my ankle. It's crusty, except it's not red around the edges the skin seem dark underneath. Just looked up skin disorder and it looks like it. I never had it before in my life and had no idea what it was. What to you do about it? Do you go to a doctor? Has anyone tried Water Fasting to treat it?
