VERY interesting. I had no idea silicone was involved. I don't know about all of you, but right before I got the Mirena removed I truly felt like my body was rejecting it. It felt like my body was screaming, "GET THIS THING OUT OF ME NOW!" Months later, my naturopath found my vitamin D levels to be low (among other things). The article mentioned giving large doses of vit. D to counteract the effects of the immune response. Just a couple of observations on my end. I hope we get some solid answers some day to this horrible riddle called Mirena so we can put this behind us and move on with our lives. Tweet
