Re: Wow, never knew all this about Boron

I have been taking the 9 mg about 10 days now.

It's one of those things I remembered Newport talking about well over a year ago, and the 9 mg stuck in my mind. I had been getting it in a multi-vitamin, but just 2 mg. What made me think more seriously about it, was when I asked Newport what supplements he would make sure he had if he had a very limited budget- and boron was one of the things he said.

I had been talking to Newport in this thread about the Boron, after researching some of the old posts about it. I knew radiation had come up high a year ago on the biofeedback type testing the Alt Dr does, and Newport's reminder of the boron had me thinking about it again...
"Boron absorbs 20x its molecular weight in radiation without DNA changes"

Sure enough, two days ago, radiation came up as being the high priority for what I need to deal with in all the organs that are showing stress.

It's not surprising, the two counties where I grew up in, and now live- are still having big ad's in the paper for anyone that lived here during the 1950's-60's, and especially specific months out of those years, to come in for free testing, screening for cancers caused by the atomic bomb testing south of here. The "clouds" escaped and left behind fallout "dust" that my mother-in-law said people used to write their names in--the Gov, of course, said it was harmless...but their geiger counters went biserk when they came here. Animals died, and sheep had the wool falling off of them. She has an old home movie taken out of their bedroom window, of the mushroom cloud coming over.

My husband's father's death was from esophogeal cancer--determined to be caused by the fallout...my mother-in-law got the $50,000 "awarded" to the fall-out victims/families for the cancer being caused by the testing. People are still getting the compensation from cancers still being found today in people that lived here during those years.

But, it makes me wonder about the younger generations that aren't being tested, that were born to the people who were known to be exposed--like my 33 year old niece who discovered an aggressive breast cancer, had her breasts removed and it was found in the lymphs.

And what may still be in the soil/water etc?

I was just reading this recently in an article about the shortage of water in the West, but one sentence also referring to the atomic testing:

>>>Baker, 69, remembers when people staked uranium claims only to realize their Geiger counters were clicking because of residue from atomic tests>>>

The Alt Dr grew up in S. Utah, where the atomic clouds were also known to have "escaped" and hit. He said his whole family tested high for uranium...but were told the type of uranium didn't have anything to do with the testing that had gone on.

John Wayne and a large crew were filming a movie in that same area when it was happening too. Many of the people died not long afterwards of cancers. Here's a post I did some time ago about it:
