Yes, Jesus' death and resurrection COMPLETES the law but does not take away from it. This is one subject that people seem to stumble on. Some may assume that "since Jesus died for our sins, then we can sin all we want without accountability." Or they will say, "All I got to do is believe and say the words 'Jesus is Lord' and I can do what I please." But, what constitutes "belief," and "following?" Are we so naive to think we just say the words and no other action is required? By "naive" I meant "cop-out."
John 3:16, John 3:16... well Scripture is not ONLY John 3:16. Scripture is the entire Bible, not just the few lines taken out of context to agree with what we want or assume to be "true."
