I don't think anyone thinks that sodium chlorite solutions are of no use.

MMS is a high concentration sodium chlorite solution that is hazardous to handle. We are opposed to Jim Humbles comments that it is perfectly safe to handle.

We are also disagree with Jim Humble that high concentration doses are safe to ingest.

Dr. Hesselink has brought forth several theories, but is very short on test data. It would be nice to see him set up some tests that would support his theory. I believe he reviewed the literature available and is sharing some ideas on how this process could possibly work.

Unfortunately, I don't think he can do this. Sodium chlorite solutions are not classified for internal use, and tests would have to be first done to prove its safety at the levels it is to be used at. It is my understanding that when animal tests show adverse effects, it puts severe limitations on human testing.

I have discussed this with several medical professionals, and they speculate that it is possible to have some relief of symptoms using a slug dose of an oxidizer, but they don't think it would actually cure the person. It seems that when malaria gets into the liver, or goes dormant, it is more difficult to attack.

It would have been nice if Jim Humble would have followed up on a couple of the people that he claimed he cured of malaria.
