Will oral magnesium supplement decrease stomach acid, hence malabsorption and bacteria overgrowth?

Hi,

I’m deficient of magnesium. I find it difficult to get sufficient magnesium just from food. I also suffer from low stomach acid. Will supplementation of oral magnesium make my stomach acid even less because magnesium is very alkaline? What forms or brands of magnesium supplements I should take without decreasing my already-low stomach acid further? How about magnesium oil, which bypasses the stomach?

Thanks
