I would never recommend using a bloodroot salve to anyone. Anybody who is contemplating it should first read Ingrid Naiman's book Cancer Salves. Never scratch the surface of a mole. Yes, bloodroot leaves scars and the scars are ugly. If I could do ti over, I would go to a dermatologist and have mine removed to minimize the scarring. It is very important to remove all the infected tissue, otherwise the disease can spread rapidly. Tweet
