Just wanted to post that I have finally cleared up the bumps on my upper arms after at least 17 years of trying. As with the rest of you, I have tried everything. Lotions, Retin-A, etc, etc........the only time my arms would clear up was if I tanned. Well, something someone said to me about the magic eraser sponges for cleaning got me thinking. They are "soft", but remove stuff very, very well. I bought some new ones and tried it on my upper arms. Well, the first time I scrubbed WAY too hard and made my skin very raw. But I have it down to every other day (even numbered days for me) I lightly, and in one direction only, rub it with soap on my arms. AND I HAVE SMOOTH ARMS!!! I still have the red dots a little, but honestly, I can live with that. For me the bumps were very embarrassing, and I would rarely wear very short sleeves until I was tan. Hope this helps someone!!
