Several NDs say we should drink a cup of sauerkraut juice daily. I just like sauerkraut anyway. My grandmother use to make it by shredding cabbage and adding brine (salted water) and letting it sit in a crock for 3 days with a cloth over it. When it was ready, there would sometimes be spider webs on top. I'm afraid to do that. I've successfully poisoned myself with herbal tonics that I've kept too long; even when they were stabilized with glycerine.
