Re: Sprints may be best for diabetes prevention

Well now this is good news. I don't have diabetes; but I like the theory of this style of exercise. I have a mini-trampoline instead of a stationery bike. It is easy to put it in front of TV and run in place for a while each day; but this article indicates that I could spend less time on the thing. I would do this by jumping up and down instead of running in place. This costs more energy in a shorter time period.

People could actually just get a jump rope. Remember those? They don't cost as much as exercise equipment.

It is good for the lymph system too.

Even if this article does not address the strengthening of the heart by a 20 minute aerobic exercise, anything that helps diabetes is good for everyone. Even a diabetic diet is good for everyone.
