I'm going to fuss at you guys
I THINK you all know I have seven children.
I THINK you all know how much I love them, have supported all of them, taught all of them, etc.
OK, what if, for some reason, when I decided to have Baby Seven, it turned out to be Babies 7-14? I would love all of them, support all of them, teach all of them, etc. And I would need a HECK of a lot of help from anybody or any source I could get.
Everybody in America thinks this woman is a whack job. Maybe she is. But she loves babies and children. What is wrong with that? Hooray! Finally! Somebody in America who uses her "right to choose" to choose to actually BEAR children!
I'm a "lifer." I lost one of my babies, and the experience made me value the sanctity of human life like nobody's business. If you notice all the chatter surrounding this lady's fertility "rights," everybody asks why anyone would be crazy enough to want or have so many kids. I venture to say that this story is being plastered all over the media in an attempt to prime the public's pump (mind control) toward (de)population control and government stepping in to tell parents in America they can only legally have 1.7 children per couple in order to be "responsible" to the planet or something.
Why hasn't it been celebrated that this lady's fertility team of doctors successfully brought eight live fetuses to viability, delivered them, and all eight tiny precious souls not only survived, but are healthy... not to mention absolutely adorable? I would think the scientific community would think this was a pretty cool deal! I personally wouldn't choose this for myself, but I wouldn't choose to be that gal with the biggest breast implant job in Texas, either.
Do you think "the government" should tell a woman "if you are getting any assistance from us, you are only allowed x number of children?" You Ron Paul people- aren't we supposed to be the "liberty" people? Should this lady only have the "liberty" that American society thinks she should have? Do you think CPS should come in and take her children away from her? Do you think she should be arrested and be forced to have her womb ripped out? Curezone people? Really? Her tubes tied? For the "crime" of wanting a big family?
Why has this story become such a big deal? Why wasn't it a one day "to each his/her own" blip and we go back to making popcorn and watching the Senate make a fool of itself on C-Span while the dollar and the Dow continues to swan dive?
I want to see this lady be successful. I want to see how she does it. Instead of some demeaning, demoralizing cussword of a name for her, I want to see a real Supermom in action. I'd be at her house rocking and feeding and kissing and singing to those babies or feeding a peanut butter sandwich to the older ones in a Manhattan minute if I could.
You boys need to quit being so sexist and give this woman and her children a fighting chance.
There. One for the girls.
