We're glad you're here doc! You're story is truly inspiring and it reminds me of a quote I once heard someone say "God helps those who help themselves."

I've seen many vietnam vets pass and its sad to watch but now I feel better knowing the reasons - parasites and chemical poisoning- the vets were getting so sick. Its tough to know that the vietnam war was all contrived by a bunch of insanely wealthy control freaks who didn't have any moral qualms about destroying the lives of hundreds of thousands of Vietnamese and Americans. I've heard one of the major reasons for the Vietnam war was to unite the country because before the war Vietnam had hundreds of different tribes and was decentralized. Vietnam went from a decentralized tribal country to a more modern day centralized country. A similar thing happened in the US Civil war - the country became more centralized after the carnage of war and as a result was easier managed by those at the top. Tweet
