by 20 days into any job i've had in adult life, mr. or ms. 73439, everybody in the room knows "john mccain 2008" and immediately the business that just hired me produces profit. that's what i offer...instant results! i take a goal sheet handed to me and blitzkrieg it off the sales chart...that's my style. i don't wait around to build sales...i am sales. if i tell you to buy what i am selling, you will reach into your piggy bank and hand over the amount i ask of you. that's what i do. once had a big-time publishing giant in this city hire me to pump up his advertising revenue so he could show a profit and sell to a midwest concern. first year i broke sales record. second year i went into his office and politely asked to take the summer off. he said that he'd never let anybody, anywhere take "a summer off" unless he fired them, then they could take all the summers off they wanted! i said "ok, if that's your policy, that's your policy". three days later he told my immediate boss to give me the summer off, with 75% pay, and i could hire a "girl friday" to answer my calls until i returned in the fall. any questions? think i could make up a story like that...lol?
