The calcium is required to take the place of Lead after chelation. This is why Lead has no problem moving in and out of the brain it has the same characteristics as calcium.

Ascorbic Acid is good to take to aid absorption of DMSA and ALA, larger doses help with some of the fall out symptoms as well.
