Anthelminic Series: Male Fern on Tapeworms, Flukes & Strongylosis - Part 2

There are a lot of ingredients in parasite cleanses. I thought that I'd do a Series on the herbal anthelminics for a better understanding on how they work on the parasites. Most of the ingredients were taken from folk medicine from centuries ago; physicians in the practice of herbal medicines observed their effects upon parasites. The studies posted will or will not corroborate those claims. There are certain doses that make these herbs effective in killing parasites [this would be an important consideration].

The link below is rather insightful on how Male Fern works on parasites outside of the GI tract. Once you get past the intro there are human cases and animal cases for review; the results are mixed but there is encouragement like the woman who had a worm in the eye that was killed and cysts that disappeared. The number of flukes killed in sheep was surprising.
