I like mag glycinate for the adrenals and mag malate for gallstones and to help chelate aluminum. I have noticed the ridges reducing on my nails since taking magnesium. Of course, chocolate is high in magnesium. lolol
I'm not a big fan of chocolate - but I like throwing it out there because I know so many women love it and could use an opportunity to see it as therapeutic. :)
OATSTRAW TEA: very rich in magnesium. Anything food-based that's rich in Calcium, Magnesium, D and Silica is good for depression, anxiety, regulating your cal/mag balance - all the good stuff. I'd wager it's helpful for that whole 'restless leg' thing, too. I like to brew the oatstraw with nettle tea, that way I get adrenal/kidney love, helps with anemia (rich in iron & B vitamins) and I get the mineral combo from the oatstraw. When I've had an adrenal upsurge through cleansing, I make a whole pot of both teas together, sip the whole thing over a few hours.
