why should anyone, really now, be truthful on their taxes?

i mean...look at what's going on here, people. chances are better for you to win the state lottery than be audited. none of these people in washington are honest on their taxes...and getting away with it. maybe it's time to send a message to america, with lower tax revenue, and start a mass tax-cheating write-down. i'm serious. the loopholes in charitable giving, mileage, expenses...you're a fool if you think your boss, washington, your neighbor, the guy down the street, everybody it seems ain't paying their fair share. your calls to your congressman isn't doing any good. look at how many people of high office would not have been caught if not for their promotion to national media scrutiny? all of these people would not have paid the taxes. hey, i'm just saying...what's good for the goose is good for the gander.
