Re: bloody stools

Both of my dogs recently were throwing up, they soon after got diahrea after which i noticed blood in their stool...i tried to look online to see what they could possibly have and ended up with a million possibilities..then today i noticed worms in their stool. They both have tapeworms and the bloody stool was a warning sign of this..

Apparently until you see the worms there is no way to tell (other than the possible warning signs)...your veterinarian can determine if the dog has worms by testing a stool sample.

I know the vet can give the dog a shot to rid them of the worms but i can't really afford to take mine to the vet so i'm trying to find out if there is an over the counter wormer strong enough to kill them once they can be seen.

I wish you luck!!
