All these people no doubt believe they are involved in this for righteous reasons.

Simply blinded by their own ambitions and visions of grandeur. Deluded, in believing they must be god's gift to the rest of humanity. My god, existence has much work to do to bring these types of people to their knees. With godspeed, may this be realized before much longer.
