crash #2 my worst day without mirena is still better than my best day with it.

Hi All,
I am 39 years old, had two mirena for a total of 5 1/2 years and am 55 days post and have been experiencing my 2nd crash for the last week (first crash occurred days 9-12 post)or so.
Like many, I was doing so well that I forgot how crappy things could get. I had some symptoms the week before my first real period last month, but nothing like the crash and NOWHERE near the Mirena experience.
I am posting because with the first crash, pms, and this crash, it seems that I get a potpourri of my old mirena issues. I never get all of them at once, but only some of them and random. It's like a MIRENA SURPRISE! The symptoms are fewer than with IUD, but definitely magnified. Example: Post removal crash I experienced fatigue, anxiety, and weight gain. First Premenstrual Symptoms were mostly physical-bloating, breast tenderness, nausea, and insomnia and a period like no other to top it off (but reassuring nevertheless). This 2nd CRASH was intense emotionally, I had blood Sugar issues even though not skipping meals, had severe anxiety attacks for 5-6 days that increased daily until yesterday, Depression like had with Mirena, back pain, fuzzy brain.
Even though I check the forum every two days or so and am journaling my emotional, mental, and physical experiences daily, it wasn't until yesterday, when I was searching for 2nd crash stories that I realized what was happening.
I wanted to share for others who may experience this second crash, that it can be intense, and can be a whole different set of symptoms, than other post experiences, but you will get through it.
I still maintain, that MY WORST DAY WITHOUT MIRENA IS BETTER THAN MY BEST DAY WITH IT.
Wishing you all WELLNESS. CW2BF
