Re: TMJ on one side only

hi,

you're still around! I have had about 5 or more falls on my neck over 10 years and treated for neck and back pain. clenching and ramdon migraines for 5 years bit my gum guard to shreds last week went for new one and was diagnosed tmj. headaches everyday for last year from base of skull up over left eye itchy and sore ears, throbbing head, dull head stabbing head with little needles, neck terrible in morning, boiling hot forehead, sore teeth, jaw, shoulders and behind ears. I couldnt sleep recently and had panic attacks, head was mental and enough was enough. i had been on pizotifen for migraines for last year and i stopped them recently as had put on two stone (lost again few weeks after) and didnt stop headaches doc said nothing more he could do for me. dentist offered lucia jig and i was unsure as didnt know what was and not explained properly and couldnt wait a week and a half as wasnt eating sleeping etc so found the program and had a go. chatted again to another dentist he recomended splint 650 pounds could be for life and with all bad press on them damaging permanently and costing for some people up to 30,000 dollars over ten years for re jigging and aligning i thought no way try this program and he agreed to see how i go. just through program i have noticed that i have big knot in each cheek above my jawline but after few days they seem to be disappearing slowly. have you tried any treatments? how long have you had tmj?
