Been on a strict candida diet for more than 3 years, including no fruit, no dairy. The only grains I eat are brown rice pasta, quinoa and buckwheat. Corn tortillas once in ahwile. I think the diet is very important, to lessen symptoms and minimize the things candida can feed on. True, candida will find things to feed off of, but why make it easy. I do eat raw walnuts and raw almonds. Raw is important, and I soak them overnight. I've recently added beans to my diet, soaking overnight of course and chewing very thoroughly. All foods should be chewed into a paste before swallowing, digestion starts in the mouth.
I've recently added milk free probiotics. I don't do well with fermented foods like some do.
