Today is an auspicious day among many disciplines

First we are in the Chinese New Year, we are in Pagan solstice (soul-stix)
there is also a tradition in certain Asian yogic communities to dig a hole in the ground and bury money, say a prayer for proserity and mutliplication abundance
put a marker of your choice on the site bless it

Leave the earth to grow your thought or desire seed.

Go back on the 27th and dig up your offering, and wait and see what the New Year brings you.
