Re: How is this possible, my dreams ALWAYS predict the future!!!!

There is much ignorance going about pertaining to dreams and their predictive ability. The real fact is that all dreams predict the future. The only question is whether you will perceive the dream as a physical event in future or as an emotionally experienced one. This is like the difference between being beaten with a stick or simply feeling that one has been beaten or abused. The difference can depend upon how well one has understood the dreams message.

Dream that come true in a day or two would be emphasizing the reality of the message being conveyed by the dream. Of course, everything depends upon the quality of the meanings attributed to the dream images. Meanings which claim that a wedding indicates death are a prime example of the nonsense filling many dream dictionaries. It is an example of warped human thinking like telling a person to go break a leg when wishing them luck. God does not speak in this manner. These nonsensical meanings have come about by someone’s associating an event with a recent dream. Because A has followed after B the assumption is that the dream image meant that event. This is a primitive causality type of thinking. Meanings that are completely illogical will never allow people to truly hear God’s guidance through their dreams – because God is not illogical.

Your mother being shot in the face would indicate that she is being severely criticized in a way that will badly affect her self identity. Your position – that of seeing her face in the crosshairs – would suggest that you may also have your mother in your sights as a target of criticism but not so aware of really doing this. The same applies on a psychological level in which your own beliefs or belief system (mother) is the target.
