There is a company by the name of Elixir. There website is http://www.elixirspa.ca.

They are a company that have gone completely synthetic free. In fact they carry a few products mentioned on this board like The Organic Make-up Company.

You might want to ask someone who is in the business why they actually took the stand that they did.

My opinion on the subject comes from the fact that parabens are synthetic and not naturally appearing in our environment. If it doesn't naturally appear it more than likely isn't good for you be it in the short or long term.

As for all the natural or plant products that haven't been tested yet there is pretty substantial testing already done to the majority of the ingredients used in cosmetics and skin care products.
