My case! Need your opinion on this...

So before finding it's from having candida 3 months agoe, I had symptoms like mucus in throat, sore throat most of the time, white coated tongue, I had to clear my throat very often and spit, and I also had nose blocked sometimes.
So because my throat gave me troubles like those, I went to my doc and he found me candida in throat 4 months ago, and I am on absolutely strict diet from then on (3 months). So basically I never did any tests for my colon, how much candida I have in my hole body etc, and I went straight to diet... but I guess if it's in throat it is also in my colon.
I feel slightingly better (especially my immunity) after 3 months on diet (+ probioticts, antifungals etc..) , but I still have same symptoms with my throat. I don't feel too much trouble in my stomach, I do from time to time (guess it can be from some die off) but not often, only that bad feeling in my throat. And I did spit test with glass it's positive.
To tell you the truth, I really don't believe in doctors too much, just because they gave me some totally bad medications and treatments for candida, and I believe internet and you people much more, so I want to ask you what do you think about this. Should I do full candida diet even if it's probably not so bad and I have it primary in my throat. Also what is candida in throat called, definition of it? Is it oral thrush? Just so that I can investigate on this more.
Any help and tips appreciated... ;)
Tnx
