anxiety from taking Iodine?

Can taking Iodine cause increased anxiety, if I also have severe adrenal exhaustion?
I also have been treating severe adrenal fatigue.
Also, I've been taking my morning basal temps for the past 2 weeks, fonly to find very low temps ( between 95.9-97.4)
I took my first dose of Iosol Iodine today and as the evening progressed, I started feeling hotter and more anxiety, and now it's 2"45 am and I still cant sleep, still feel hot and axniety.
Could treating the thyroid now, be to early, as it is only causing more stress to the adrenal glands?
