Re: Fasting: The Formula For ALL Life
THANK YOU & AMEN!
Many years ago as I was beginning my journey into this incredible world of self-healing - I had alot of questions about how the herbs worked. The reason for this is because when we look at a page or book written on any one herb - it would appear that they are all 'magic bullets' or 'cure-alls'. I had worked with them long enough to know that this was not true, but when I would study something like cayenne, I would read a list which says it will lower blood pressure, it will raise blood pressure, it will equalize blood pressure to stop bleeding, etc., etc. So, my question was - how can it do so many opposing things? It appears to be a dicotomy.
One day in a quiet clearing in the woods - I found the answer. If we seek and we are open - we can be taught many things that are just waiting for our attention.
As I stood in this small clearing, looking at the grass, the trees, the shrubs, every living thing around me - I was shown how this works. I came to understand that every cell in our body has intelligence - every cell in all of the life around me had intelligence. When we take an herb into our body - there is a literal communication which takes place. The intelligences within the herb will ask, "What is the problem - where can I help?" If we are not too prideful, stiff-necked or hard-hearted - the intelligences within our cells will answer back with the problem. That herb will then do everything within it's power to help us - which is why it can raise the blood pressure or lower the blood pressure. If however, we are prideful, stiff-necked, doubtful or negative. When the herb asks, "where can we help" - our intelligences will not respond and the herb is left on it's own and eventually flushed out of our system.
This is why you will hear so many say, "I tried herbs and they don't work". If you listen to the tone in their voice it will become clear very quickly why they don't work. I also came to understand that their very existence (the trees, grass, etc.) is to serve us. They want to serve in any way they can and are joyful about doing it.
Life is an incredible journey and if we are willing to learn, adjust and become a part of all that is around us, we can experience disease-free, optimal health. The key is to understand that what we will gain from our 'sacrifices' is much greater that anything we are giving up or sacrificing.
