Re: Juice Poll

Guess I'll answer my own poll...

I've been juicing since 1980. Went to seminar in Long Beach California to see Jay Kordasch talk about drinking your vegetables (his son lived in my apartment complex) and I have met him (he looks like he does on TV.....) I was impressed immediately

Went to Long Beach, watched the seminar and ordered the Juiceman Juicer.... (also got a ticket going the wrong way one a one way street....)

When I would go to the grocery store in San Pedro I would get a 25 pound bag of carrots... Had a heck of a time doing the pricing... Well found a cashier that could calculate in her head so this worked... The younger ones were mystified......

Got Norman Walker juicing for Life and read every recipe and did all the the veggies covering all bases (I was 35 at the time. )

In abt 5 years (1985) I somehow tried to juice a rock... Destroyed the basket... It was replaced immediately.... Great until 2003 when my cat "Micky Mouse, the Unathletic cat" jumped on the counter knocked the juicer and broke a plastic thingy" ....)

Well got my new Juicer Omega 8003 a masticating one (March 2006)... Now I am back at it daily, I still follow Norman Walkers recipes, give the pulp to "Thelma and Lousie" dogs

I Juice a majority of my veggies "fruit occasionally (when I want apples), fits my schedule I work nights and midnight is my lunch hour.... hard to get my juicing in, But I do

Juicing is a big part of my life
