Re: Affirmation from Dr. of hormones affecting colon.
Karita,
Thank you for responding back.. yeah I am so disgusted because I had just lost about 50 lbs before I had IUD inserted in 07 then had it removed in 08 and had gained all that weight back and I had an polyp removed from my colon in oct of 07 that came back non-cancerouse and the reason I had IUD even put in is because my OBGYN recommended it because I have always had heavy periods and they got even heavier after I had my tubes tied in 1991... so Bcontrol pills slowed periods down, but I got to where I was having alot of spotting so she said that it was because my body was getting used to them and then she did some testng and found out that I had fibroids in my uterus so she said to stop the pain she wanted to insert the IUD it would stop the bleeding and fibroids breed on blood and estrogen and I couldnt afford the ablation that she wanted to do so this is the route we took, she wanted me to leave it in til I went thru menopause, because then she said the fribroids would go away on there on... well then I started having all these problems since day one along with being bloated, swollen and hurting in back and arms and after removal my stomach started hurtin on the left upper side, hurts constantly like Ive got a bad cramp there i=or something, Im sure its prob intestine kinked up or soemthing, I thought maybe pancreas problems I dont know...
anyway, story of my life.... thank you for your info and i hope I dont bore you with all this typing....
GOD BLESS
Lorie
