'Ownership' is a two-way street, methinks.
If an organization feels they deserve 'ownership' because they have the 'science' to understand the effects of it, then that is an implication that they know ALL about the item in question...including all the negatives.
...Including all the 'additives', for only one example.
That is a pretty big mouthful for any organization.
