Re: Spirituality and money

If one looks at one's wealth as all belonging to God, then to give him back a portion of it is a must. What I do is give my charity first before the debts then God, returns to me seven or more times what I gave and I become wealthier automatically. Sometimes God, gives you your return in good health or to keep you from a predestined ill so charity all is good whether you are rich or poor and I know because I am by your standards very poor.

I am Muslim and in Islam if you have enough to eat and subside yourself for one day you have enough and depend on Allah or God for the rest. I know I do this on a daily basis and I came from nothing to being in good shape.

When I was in America I was not doing good in my job, so one day I wrote a check out for two hundred dollars to the church, not Muslim then. The pastor came to me and told me that he would not accept my money as I was not doing well. I insisted he keep the check and that day went to show a house as I was a realtor and the woman bought the first house and I made $4000. So pay it forward, because it does not belong to us in the first place.
