Isn't the power in Jamaica 110V @ 50Hz?

Shouldn't need 50/60Hz unless travelling abroad with it.

Or is it easier/cheaper to find a 50/60Hz model?

I really doubt any juicer has electronics that running 50Hz would change things too much. Although if you know for sure a 60Hz grinder loses too much power, then your friend may be right...
