Re: Patrick Swayze's Misplaced Faith in Mainstream Medicine

This interview just broke my heart. I have always had an extremely soft spot for Patrick, even tho most of his movies were too violent for my taste. (I can't tell you how many times I have watched Dirty Dancing, however, because you might think I don't have a life). To hear him deny alternative healing was a heavy blow, as it not only means we will loose him soon, but someone of his star stature has a heavy influence on others.

And as an after thought, while he praised big money for "doing the right thing" by letting him do the series, I bet in the back of their minds they thought his having cancer would help sell the show.....

I still have the issue of People magazine with his picture on the cover announcing he was sick (I never buy magazines) on my coffee table, and I look at the pictures of him, his lovely wife and their horses and dogs, every once and awhile and send him some loving energy. What a fairytale marriage they have.

I wonder how Farrah Fawcett is doing.....
