Had a biopsy on my face done today

I have indentations, about the size of a finger print all over my face, as well as one linear indentation about two inches long over my eyebrow. My mom's dermatologist though it could be Scleroderma and told me to get into my own dr. asap to get a biopsy. I saw a dermatologist today and it was obvious that he didn't know what these things were. He said it could be Scleroderma or Lupus but he has no clue what it is. I wish he would have just ordered a Lupus panel and a test for Scleroderma but said he will do that, if the biopsy comes back inconclusive. Sigh. I just don't understand doctors.
