Re: Stop with the carrot juice...
Actually, it is. I have known this forever, just common knowledge. Note: beta carotenes are precursors of vitamin A. As yis stated below, eating massive amounts of beta carotenes (from carrots) will only result in orange skin (temporary), and is not toxic like it would be to take excessive vita A supplements or eat an excessive amount of food high in vita A (for example tons of egg yolks or cod liver oil, I don't think one could overeat on vegetables!)
Toxicity: Vitamin A can become toxic with prolonged dosages exceeding the recommended dosage range. Beta Carotene used in greater than the recommended dosage range will only result in turning the skin a temporary yellow-orange color.
Notes/Precautions: We recommend using Beta-Carotene in place of Vitamin A.
I also saw on TV that the girl from the Partridge family turned orange after she was on a diet for weeks of only carrots. Other people have also tried this. The only thing you have to do is cut out the orange looking vegetables and your skin will return to normal. You are very healthy, and keep juicing!!!
